Luke Dancy seamlessly melds together the classic ‘pick a card’ plot with a four ace production,

demonstrating the beauty of magic in its simplicity.

A spectator chooses a card

from a spread in an attempt to pull out an Ace. Failing to do so, their chosen card is tabled while the performer tries to locate an ace. The performer’s selection is turned over — it’s the exact same card as chosen by the spectator.

Attention is now brought back to the tabled card,

which has incredibly now become three cards. The cards are flipped end on end with the performer’s card to reveal - they’re the three aces… the fourth ace?

Now held by the performer.

An easy, stunning opener that’s perfect for setting up for any four ace effect.

Steven ★★★★☆

The "pick a card" to four ace production is surprisingly clean and direct. It took a few run-throughs to get the timing right, but the simplicity really makes the effect powerful.

Benjamin ★★★★☆

I was a little skeptical about another pick-a-card trick, but the four-ace production really makes this one feel fresh and clean. The spread method is smooth and keeps the audience guessing. Only wish the explanation had a bit more detail on timing.
