The way the spectator shuffles face-up and face-down cards creates total chaos, and having them time it on their own phone stopwatch is brilliantly hands-off. I’ve run it three times now and the reaction is always the same—complete disbelief.

Was a bit skeptical about using a phone stopwatch for a card trick, but it actually makes the timing feel super organic and hands-off. The chaos of mixing face-up and face-down cards really does look impossible to follow.

The face-up and face-down mix makes finding their card genuinely hard, and timing it with my phone's stopwatch adds a nice bit of tension. I've been doing this for friends all week and it gets them every time.
