I was skeptical about wasting money on a how-to guide, but the Pass Through method actually works—came up with three custom trinkets in my first afternoon trying it.

It took a few tries to get the hang of the pass-through technique, but once I did, it worked for making a simple replacement knob. The process feels a bit finicky for a beginner, though. Decent for the price, but I wouldn't call it a breakthrough.
